YES. You CAN have someone else pick up your race packet for you (or vice versa). They/you must bring some kind of permission note, email, text stating that you have given them permission to pick up your packet for you.

No. Due to the size of the event, for the safety of other runners we cannot accommodate strollers. We also do not allow headphones, roller blades, skates, skateboards, dogs, or anything else that could come into contact, impede or affect another participant. This policy is in accordance with the industry best practices for large participation events.

Online registration closes 12 p.m. Monday the week of the event. Print registration forms must be postmarked three weeks out from the event.

There is no race day registration. “Last Chance” registration will take place at the Health & Fitness Expo from 4 to 8 p.m. on Thursday prior to the event and Noon to 7 p.m. on Friday the day before the race. The fee is $45.

For the Capital Kids 3K the fee for each youth runner is $20. The course is closed and the kids run fast, so no adults are permitted to run with their children. Adults may run with their kids in the Kids Run. It is no charge for youth participants or adult chaperones. Only the kids receive a free t-shirt. Strollers are prohibited.
